Director of Engineering

A Day in the Life

  • As Director of Engineering, you will lead and oversee all engineering and maintenance operations across the resort, ensuring the highest standards of safety, functionality, and guest experience. You will manage preventive maintenance programs, capital projects, renovations, and emergency systems while ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • You will work closely with the General Manager and executive leadership to support operational excellence, protect the asset, and deliver a seamless experience for guests and team members alike.

Who You Are

  • A seasoned engineering leader with 5–10 years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably within hospitality or resort operations, including at least 3 years in a management or director-level role.
  • A hands-on professional with strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, and general maintenance systems.
  • A confident people leader with the ability to build, train, and inspire high-performing engineering teams.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing budgets, vendors, preventive maintenance programs, and capital projects.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to manage guest interactions, safety matters, and cross-department collaboration.

The Wedding & Social Events Coordinator (WSEC) will administrate new leads, identifying if they are appropriate for our property, and send the initial response to the customer. Will also prepare and execute event orders and group resumes to ensure quality product delivery and customer satisfaction. The WSEC will service all aspects in coordinating all function details with clients, including but not limited to space requirements, meeting times, equipment, menus, billing, etc. The Wedding & Social Events Coordinator will be responsible for working in collaboration with on-property support departments voice on behalf of customer.

The Wedding & Social Events Coordinator manages incoming wedding and social event leads, qualifies business opportunities, and delivers timely, professional responses and proposals. Coordinates all event logistics, prepares group resumes and BEOs, and serves as the primary liaison between clients and hotel departments. Ensures seamless execution of events through close collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.

Respond promptly to client inquiries, close sales opportunities, and achieve assigned revenue goals. Prepare, distribute, and manage all event documentation, including contracts, deposits,s, rooming lists, and BEOs. Conduct site inspections, pre-con meetings, and on-site coordination to ensure exceptional client satisfaction. Maintain accurate records in sales systems and uphold Noble House Hotels & Resorts standards.
